Company marking 25 years

MENOMONIE — Valley Feeds, 1620 Indianhead Drive, is celebrating its 25th anniversary from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.

Madison startup advances

MADISON — AkitaBox is one of five startups chosen for the gener8tor business accelerator’s next class, and the only one from Wisconsin.

AkitaBox digitizes and stores documents on buildings, such as blueprints, and facility data, such as maintenance records, in a single, searchable site.

The other four startups are:

• Ezra’s, Chicago, an online craft spirits retailer.

• needls., Toronto, Canada, which is a platform for sales leads through social media.

• Prescribe Nutrition, Minneapolis, giving members access to nutritionists.

• Player’s Health, Chicago, creating health records for student athletes.

Player’s Health — then called Team Interval — won first prize in the Elevator Pitch Olympics, part of the Early Stage Symposium at Monona Terrace last November.

The five were chosen from 486 applicants. Their 12-week session started Aug. 7 and is based in Milwaukee. It is the seventh class for gener8tor, which has offices in Madison and Milwaukee.

• MONDOVI — Marten Transport, a temperature-sensitive truckload carrier, announced a regular quarterly cash dividend of 2½ cents per share of common stock. The dividend will be payable on Sept. 30 to stockholders of record at the close of business on Sept. 16.
