Edi­tor’s note: The Eau Claire City-County Health Depart­ment checks area li­censed food es­tab­lish­ments, in­clud­ing restau­rants and food re­tail­ers. The Leader-Tele­gram de­tails “pri­or­ity” vi­o­la­tions, de­fined as state code vi­o­la­tions with po­ten­tial to con­trib­ute to food con­tam­i­na­tion, ill­ness or en­vi­ron­men­tal health haz­ard, and re­ports “pri­or­ity foun­da­tion” vi­o­la­tions, which sup­port pri­or­ity vi­o­la­tions, found in rou­tine in­spec­tions. Places that re­ceive “core,” or non­crit­i­cal, vi­o­la­tions are marked “no pri­or­ity or pri­or­ity foun­da­tion vi­o­la­tions.” A “cor­rected” no­ta­tion means the vi­o­la­tion was cor­rected dur­ing a rou­tine in­spec­tion. Al­toona In­ter­me­di­ate-Mid­dle School/​Ta­her Inc., 1903 Bartlett Ave., Dec. 1. Three pri­or­ity vi­o­la­tions: Cubes of ched­dar cheese stored in the walk-in cooler were ob­served with mold on them; car­ton of raw shell eggs stored over ready-to-eat string cheese, moz­zarella cheese and juice car­tons in the walk-in cooler (cor­rected); yo­gurt on trays on top of the prep cooler found above 41 de­grees (cor­rected).

Eau Claire Golf & Coun­try Club, 828 Club­view Lane, Dec. 8. One pri­or­ity vi­o­la­tion: Em­ployee ob­served han­dling and eat­ing ready-to-eat cake with bare hands while plat­ing (re­peat, cor­rected).

Dra­ganetti’s Ris­torante, 3120 Hill­crest Park­way, Dec. 11. Two pri­or­ity vi­o­la­tions: Em­ployee ob­served han­dling basil that is go­ing into a ready-to-eat basil and oil mix­ture with bare hands (cor­rected); gar­lic but­ter and moz­zarella cheese stored on ice by the steam ta­ble are cold-held over 41 de­grees. Three pri­or­ity foun­da­tion vi­o­la­tions.

The Public House, 2235 N. Claire­mont Ave., Dec. 6. One pri­or­ity foun­da­tion vi­o­la­tion.

Best Western Trail Lodge, 3340 Mon­dovi Road, Dec. 7. One pri­or­ity vi­o­la­tion: Chem­i­cals stored on dish ma­chine area and three drain boards (cor­rected). Two pri­or­ity foun­da­tion vi­o­la­tions.

Buzzy’s Pizza Em­po­rium, 414 Water St., Dec. 7. No vi­o­la­tions.

The Goat Cof­fee House, 336 Water St., Dec. 8. One pri­or­ity foun­da­tion vi­o­la­tion.

TGI Fri­days, 4800 Golf Road, Dec. 8. No pri­or­ity or pri­or­ity foun­da­tion vi­o­la­tions.

Lis­more Ban­quet Event Cen­ter, 205 S. Barstow St., Dec. 11. Three pri­or­ity foun­da­tion vi­o­la­tions.

North Cross­ing Fam­ily Res­tau­rant Bar and Grill, 6220 Tex­aco Drive, Dec. 11. One pri­or­ity vi­o­la­tion: Chlo­rine san­i­tizer is not be­ing used ac­cord­ing to la­bel use in­struc­tions (cor­rected).
