Editor’s note: The Eau Claire City-County Health Department checks area licensed food establishments, including restaurants and food retailers. Sammy’s Pizza Restaurant & Pub, 2812 London Road, Dec. 13. One priority violation: Half and half creamer in bar cooler cold-held above 41 degrees (corrected). Two priority foundation violations.

Morrison Healthcare-Mayo Clinic Health System hospital, 1221 Whipple St., Dec. 14. One priority violation: Egg salad, cut tomato, hard-boiled egg and leaf lettuce in cold prep table in room service area are cold-held above 41 degrees (corrected).

Do-Dodge Inn, 1339 Menomonie St., Dec. 15. No priority or priority foundation violations.

Galloway Grille, 409 Galloway St., Dec. 15. Four priority violations: Employee observed not washing hands when moving from dish washing area to preparing salads on cold line (corrected); minced garlic in oil stored at room temperature and not cold-held at 41 degrees or lower (corrected); chlorine sanitizer in dish machine and sanitizer in sanitizer buckets are not being used according to label use instructions (corrected); sanitizer bucket stored on cutting board area of main prep line adjacent to food and food contact surfaces and bottles of peroxide stored above soup pots in kitchen (corrected). One priority foundation violation.

Green Mill Restaurant, 2703 Craig Road, Dec. 15. Three priority violations: Employee observed handling celery with bare hands (corrected); raw sausage on pizza was cooked to less than 155 degrees (corrected); chlorine sanitizer is not being used according to label use instructions (corrected). One priority foundation violation.

Caribou Coffee/​Einstein Bros. Bagels, 807 W. Clairemont Ave., Dec. 18. Three priority violations: Raw salmon stored in same bus bin as pre-cooked chicken breast (corrected); pasteurized eggs stored at room temperature and not cold-held at or below 41 degrees (corrected); in egg prep area (corrected); chlorine sanitizer is not being used according to label use instructions (corrected). Two priority foundation violations.
