• Dr. Hussain Ali recently joined the obstetrics and gynecology department at Mayo Clinic Health System–Red Cedar in Menomonie.
Ali completed medical school at Rawalpindi Medical College at the University of Punjab, Pakistan, and earned a master’s degree in public health at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee, which is affiliated with the University of Wisconsin.
Prior to joining Mayo Clinic Health System, Ali cared for patients at Physician Health Alliance and served as a faculty member for the Family Practice Residency program at the Wright Center for Medical Education in Wilkes Barre, Penn.
Ali is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Dr. Annie Culver recently joined the hospital medicine department at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire.
Culver earned her bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of Texas at El Paso. She completed medical school at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, and completed an internal medicine residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Culver is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is certified in basic and advanced cardiac life support. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association.
• Dr. Anthony Furlano recently joined the Mayo Clinic Family Medicine Residency Program at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire. Furlano will treat patients and supervise residents in the program on the Luther Campus.
Furlano earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and pre-medicine from UW-La Crosse and completed medical school and the Harold I. Magoun Predoctoral Teaching Fellowship in osteopathic manipulative medicine at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker, Colo. He completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic Family Medicine Residency Program at Mayo Clinic Health System–Franciscan Healthcare in La Crosse.
Furlano is board-certified in family medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.
• Dr. Nikolai Mendonca recently joined the hospital medicine department at Mayo Clinic Health System–Oakridge in Osseo.
Mendonca earned his medical baccalaureate in medicine and surgery from Dr. Vasantrao Pawar Medical College in Nashik, Maharashtra, India, and completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Bridgeport Hospital, Yale New Haven Health, in Bridgeport, Conn.
Mendonca is certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates, and also is certified in basic and advanced life support. He is a member of the American College of Physicians.

NEW JOB: Physical therapist Marlee Dachel recently joined the rehabilitation team at Dove Health-care–West Eau Claire.
Dachel earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from UW–Milwaukee. She received her bachelor’s degree in science from UW–Eau Claire.
