NATURE SALE AT BEAVER CREEK RESERVE
Sixty native plant species will be on sale at Beaver Creek Reserve from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 12 during the volunteer-run Native Plant Sale.
Plants, flowers, grasses and herbs grown from seed at Beaver Creek, S1 Highway K, Fall Creek, will be available for purchase. Many flowering species attract butterflies and pollinators.
Cost of plants ranges from $3.50 to $10, with most in the $5 range. Visit beavercreekreserve.org for a full list of plants for sale.
A nature-themed thrift sale will take place at the same time, with sales of decorations, field guides, books, clothing and more benefitting the bird banding program.
