BLUE CHRISTMAS: The pastoral staff and Caring Ministry invite you to come just as you are to the “Blue Christmas Service: A Service of Hope and Comfort” at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1804 Highland Ave.
A “Blue Christmas” worship service is a service of quiet reflection, prayer and hope. It is for those who are having a hard time feeling joyful as they enter the holiday season; for all who are grieving the loss of a loved one, struggling with a fragile or broken relationship or adjusting to bad news; or for those who want to usher in the season with others who understand these struggles and/or seasonal sadness.
Refreshments and fellowship will follow the service.
