An Eau Claire man is accused of soliciting sex from female customers at a convenience store.
Edward T. Decorah, 57, was charged Wednesday in Eau Claire County Court with a felony count of second-offense possession of marijuana and misdemeanor counts of prostitution, disorderly conduct and bail jumping.
According to the criminal complaint:
Eau Claire police were sent to Kwik Trip, 108 W. Madison St., at 2:35 a.m. Sunday on a report of a disturbance.
An employee said Decorah had been bothering some females inside the store and had asked to go with them to a hotel room to have sex.
Decorah had been offering the females money in exchange for the sex.
The females refused and left in their own vehicle.
Officers noted that Decorah appeared to be intoxicated.
A plastic bag containing marijuana was found in Decorah’s pants pocket.
Decorah was free on a signature bond for a 2017 criminal case in Jackson County, which prohibited him from committing new crimes.
