WHITEHALL — Trempealeau County Sheriff Richard Anderson reported a traffic stop in the town of Lincoln led to a meth arrest, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
According to the news release:
Trempealeau County sheriff’s deputies along with the office’s K-9 unit conducted a traffic stop at 4:56 p.m. Thursday in the town of Lincoln.
Approximately 28 grams of methamphetamine was located where a passenger, identified as Chong Moua, 44, of Eau Claire, was sitting.
Moua was arrested and booked into the Trempealeau County Jail for possession with intent to deliver and a probation violation.
The incident is still under investigation by the Trempealeau County sheriff’s office.
