A Cameron man will spend 18 months in prison for violating conditions of his probation stemming from three 2018 criminal convictions.
Eau Claire County Judge Michael Schumacher ordered Brandon C. Purintun, 26, to spend two years on extended supervision following his release from prison.
Purintun was fined $518. As conditions of supervision, Purintun cannot drink alcohol or enter taverns.
Purintun was originally sentenced in May to two years of probation for a felony count of possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor counts of carrying a concealed weapon and obstructing an officer.
According to court records, Purintun violated terms of his probation by using methamphetamine, possessing marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a concealed weapon, providing a false name to law enforcement, making his whereabouts and activities unknown, and being terminated from Drug Court in Barron County.
