What type of information is Leader-Telegram collecting, and how is the sites collecting it?
You can surf Leader-Telegram's Web sites and view much of our content anonymously. But there are certain times when information about our visitors in collected.

First there is information that you offer us yourself because the collection of personally identifiable information is necessary. Leader-Telegram uses the information to complete transactions. For instance, if you purchase a subscription for the Leader Telegram, we use your information to process your order, or if you contact us for help we will use the information to contact you. Does Leader-Telegram share information with companies or other organizations that are not part of the Leader-Telegram family of sites?
We do not sell other businesses information about you. On occasion we offer promotions -- like contests or free subscriptions -- in conjunction with a sponsor. When you sign up for the promotion we may share your information with those sponsors so that they can send you other special promotions they offer; however, we will share it only with that specific sponsor. Leader-Telegram only accepts advertising on our sites from companies that have their own privacy policy.
