UW-Eau Claire’s Samantha Senczyszyn won three conference championships on the first day of the WIAC swimming and diving championships at Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center in Brown Deer.
Senczyszyn won the 50-yard freestyle and swam on the winning 200 free and 400 medley relays. The 400 medley team of Jessica Short, Senczyszyn, Sara Hagen and Brittany Farr set a conference meet record with a time of 3 minutes, 48.18 seconds.
Short added an individual title by winning the 200 individual medley.
Collin Miller of the Blugolds men’s team won the 200 IM with a meet record time of 1:50.28.
