UW-Eau Claire freshman centerfielder Mikayla McEnery and sophomore pitcher Sarah Peka were named to the All-WIAC softball team on Tuesday.
UW-Stout senior pitcher Beth Wood, who also was one of three Judy Kruckman Tri-Scholar athletes honored, and sophomore centerfielder Mary Iliopoulos were also named to the team.
Among the honorable mentions were Chippewa Falls grad and Blugolds sophomore catcher Gretchen Arneson and UW-Eau Claire sophomore pitcher Stephanie Wilczynski, along with UW-Stout senior catcher Rachel Thomas, freshman pitcher Melea Bruns and junior first baseman Alicia Meyer.
UW-Stout junior Kaylee Francois and UW-Eau Claire junior Allison Schultz were named to the all-sportsmanship team.
UW-Whitewater’s Vera Pflugradt and Julia Camardo were the position player and pitcher of the year
