Spencer Myers had a perfect day at the plate and Andrew Pratt and Nick Brueser both drove in a pair of runs to lead the Eau Claire Express to a 7-6 win over the Thunder Bay Border Cats on Thursday night at Port Arthur Stadium in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Pratt knocked in Myers, who had a 3-for-3 night, with a sacrifice fly in the eighth inning for what proved to be the winning run.
Carson Rudd gave up seven hits and six earned runs over seven innings, but struck out six and got the win.
Billy Cook hit a two-run home run in the seventh inning to pull the Border Cats even. Cook also had a two-run double in the fifth.
