As part of its commitment to involve youth in arts and cultural activities, the CVCA/Heyde Center provides an early introduction of children to the arts and culture through the offering of free, forty-five minute presentations of various arts and cultural activities at the Heyde Center during the summer. The target age group is 4 - 10 years of age.

The Western Dairyland Business Center invites producers interested in selling at local Farmers Markets to attend an informational training on Tuesday, August 4th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Black River Area Chamber of Commerce at 120 N Water St, Black River Falls. Admission is free.Attendees will learn how to become a successful vendor at the Farmers Markets in Arcadia, Whitehall and Black River Falls, will gain knowledge on developing a business plan and will receive tips on low-cost marketing ideas. If you have thought about selling your vegetables, fruit, syrup, honey or other artisan items, this is the class for you. Heyde Center for the Arts - Chippewa Falls, WI

TWO DAY CLASS: Wednesday, July 29 and Wednesday August 5 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. This is an introductory class for anyone who wants to dive right into clay. You will make two handbuilt projects and experiment with textures and design. You will also learn the basic methods for finishing and glazing your pieces. Wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting a little dirty. This workshop will meet twice - Week 1 – Making your projects, and Week 2 – Glazing your projects. Class size is limited so register now! Cash bar available. Cost: $40 per person.

The Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd - Eau Claire, WI

Ruby's Pantry distributes food to anyone who wants or needs food. There is no background check and no ID is required. Cost is $20 (cash only) for over $100 worth of food. Please bring your own boxes, baskets, or bags to carry your food in.
