The Western Dairyland Business Center and Women’s Business Center are providing business QuickBooks classes. The two-session Level 1 QuickBooks class is being held on Tuesday July 28th and Thursday July 30th from 6:00pm to 9:00 at the Western Dairyland Community Action Agency, 418 Wisconsin Street, Eau Claire.Level 1 Business QuickBooks No experience with QuickBooks is necessary for Level 1 Business QuickBooks, but attendees should have basic computer skills. Each session is hands-on using QuickBooks 2014 Premier and allows time for students to practice what they have learned.• Getting started with QuickBooks, receive an overview of accounting terms and key financial reports as you learn how to set up QuickBooks specifically for your Business and work with a chart of accounts, registers and bank accounts.• Begin entering sales in QuickBooks, Learn how to receive payments and make deposits, process payables and disbursements, and other useful features for the QuickBooks.Tuition is $99. Scholarships are available for income-eligible individuals. Laptops will be provided for use during the classes, therefore space is limited to 20 participants. Heyde Center for the Arts - Chippewa Falls, WI

TWO DAY CLASS: Wednesday, July 29 and Wednesday August 5 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. This is an introductory class for anyone who wants to dive right into clay. You will make two handbuilt projects and experiment with textures and design. You will also learn the basic methods for finishing and glazing your pieces. Wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting a little dirty. This workshop will meet twice - Week 1 – Making your projects, and Week 2 – Glazing your projects. Class size is limited so register now! Cash bar available. Cost: $40 per person.
