Testimony starts today in killer's trial

Father already pleaded guilty to murder, jury to determine his sanity

A defense witness for Aaron Schaffhausen, convicted of killing his three daughters in River Falls last summer, is expected to explain "a very complex and rare kind of homicide."

Defense attorney John Kucinski said Monday night that Dr. J. Reid Meloy of California will testify about that "rare kind" homicide during the sanity portion of Schaffhausen's trial.
