Menomonie sheds winter blues with monthlong promotion

MENOMONIE - A new Greater Menomonie Area Chamber of Commerce promotion wants people to think of Menomonie as the place to go in the middle of winter.

The midwinter promotion encompasses the arts, outdoor recreation and local shopping venues, said Joan Friedenfels, the chamber's tourism director.
