MENOMONIE — The city of Menomonie is expected to add 37 full-time jobs by May 2016 because of a planned expansion at two companies on the city’s far east side.
The City Council on Monday approved a developer’s agreement with Hidden Valley Industries and Shape Products to sell 5.3 acres in the city’s industrial park for $79,650.
The companies, owned by area developer and businessman Rock Eiden, will build a 36,000-square-foot building to expand Hidden Valley Industries, which is a wholesale food business. Shape Products makes window wells and other plastic products like sheeting. Construction is planned to start this summer.
