Darold E. Wall, age 71 of Stanley, died Friday, June 22, 2018 in Chippewa Falls. He was born on May 1, 1947 in Ladysmith to Edward and Donna (nee: Woods) Wall. The family moved to Menomonee Falls, WI where he attended local schools. After high school, Darold enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served for eight years with one tour in Vietnam, retiring in 1972. LeRoy “Ding” E. Reetz, 97, of Bloomer, passed away June 24, 2018, at Colfax Health & Rehab. He was born on September 6, 1920, in Bloomer, the son of Louis and Philomena (Bemel) Reetz. Ding attended schools in Bloomer and graduated from Bloomer High School in 1939 and was active in football, basketball and baseball. Beverly J. Knutson, age 93, of Eau Claire, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018, at Dove Healthcare – West, with her family by her side. Beverly was born on December 22, 1924, in St. Paul, MN, to Alphonse and Alma Kronberg. Beverly graduated from St. Francis Hospital - School of Nursing in La Crosse, WI, in 1946. She married Robert L. Marjorie Rae Rogstad, age 74, of Eau Claire, passed away from natural causes on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at her home surrounded by family. Marjorie was born on July 7, 1943 to the late Michael and Claire (Bluma) Kewan in Milwaukee, WI. She graduated from Regis High School; went on to attend and graduate from Alverno College in Milwaukee. She was an avid piano player since the age of 6. She loved jazz performing as “Marji Rae” with Conrad Johns and also with many other area musicians.
James M. Tollefson, 73 of Eau Claire passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 in his home. James was born July 27, 1944 in Eau Claire, WI the son of the late Adolph M. and Viola (Knowlton) Tollefson. Jim loved spending time with his grandchildren. He followed them to baseball games, rodeos and anything that had to do with his family. In the early years he coached little league while Troy played.
