Mildred Wagner

Mildred (Millie) Isabelle Wagner age 96, went home to be with the Lord on January 12, 2018, at the Colfax Health and Rehabilitation Center. Millie was born on March 2, 1921, to Albert and Karen (Paulson) Cook in New Richmond, Wisconsin. She married Harlan (Bud) Wagner in Decorah, Iowa, on April 4, 1941; and lived at Route 2 Menomonie where they farmed until 2005. Millie helped farm, loved gardening, mowing lawn, fishing, riding bicycle, and never missed a band concert. She loved babies, was the best hugger. Her house was immaculate, and she enjoyed entertaining. Millie loved her Lord, her family, and her grandchildren and was always ready to pray, lend a helping hand, and share her love of Jesus to all.

Millie is survived by her sons: Larry (Aggie), Jerome, Dennis (Karen); a son-in-law, Morgan Norris; 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, two sisters, one brother, two brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Debra Norris; great-great grandchild, Addyson Coates; six brothers and five sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, January 15, 2018 at the Menomonie Alliance Church, with Pastor Robert Koepp officiating. A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial will be in Cedar Falls Cemetery in the township of Red Cedar, Dunn Co., WI at a later date. Olson Funeral Home in Menomonie is serving the family.
