Richard Dick P. Moore, 88 of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully early on July 8, 2018, at Lake Hallie Memory Care, surrounded by his family.
Dick was born August 16th, 1929 in South St. Paul, MN to John and Ann Moore; he was the fourth of their sixth children. After serving in the Navy, he began working for IBM, where he proudly worked for 33 years. Dick and Bernadette Ruff were married on April 19th of 1958.
Dick is survived by his wife of 60 years, Bernie, four children, James (Sarah) Moore, Michael (Paula) Moore, Gregory (Brenda) Moore, Lisa (Michael) Hood, sister Elaine Link, brother Tom Moore, eleven beloved grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Dick is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, John, Bob, and Betty Anderson.
Memorial mass will take place at 11 am on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1712 Highland Avenue, Eau Claire, WI 54701 with Father Dan Oudenhoven officiating. Memorial visitation will take place at church on Thursday morning from 9 am until the time of service. Private family committal service will take place in Calvary Cemetery in Eau Claire at a later date.
