Aldene Elizabeth Opland, age 82, of Chippewa Falls, formerly of Eleva, died on Friday, July 20, 2018 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home. She was born on July 25, 1935 in Ettrick to Edwin and Alice (Swenson) Peterson. She attended the Lee School in rural Melrose and later Melrose High School.
