Ronald W. Helwig, age 84 of Mondovi, WI passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at the Homeplace of Mondovi. He was born on June 8, 1934. Prior to his honorable discharge from the United States Armed Forces, Ron was united in marriage to Edith Mae Julson on December 26, 1957 at the Little Brown Church in Nashau, IA. Hazel A. Obermueller, age 89, of Colfax, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Atrium Acute Care of Bloomer, with her family by her side. Hazel was born on August 5, 1928, in Ridgeland, WI, to Casper and Mathilda (Schleusner) Kaiser. She graduated from Prairie Farm High School. Hazel married Orie Obermueller on August 19, 1950, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Glenwood City. Together they raised four children. Hazel and Orie lived on a hobby farm in Glenwood City from 1950 to 1958.
