Gerry J. Luer, age 80, of Stoughton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at his home surrounded by family. He was born on Sept. 13, 1937, and grew up in Chetek, the son of Fred and Marguerita (Brown) Luer. Gerry was united in marriage to Linda L. Busse on Feb. 14, 1959, in Madison. He attended Madison Area Technical College with a focus in culinary arts, while also working at the Simon House. Gerry was a letter carrier for 38 years, and also kept busy with a part time job at
Gertie M. Gifford, age 78, of Mondovi, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Mayo Health System in Eau Claire with family by her side. She was born on September 30, 1939 in Durand, WI, a daughter of the late George and Peg (Kern) Bignell. She married Bubby Marum in Durand and to this marriage three children were born. Phillip “Phil” Olson, age 69, of Menomonie, Wisconsin passed away in his home on July, 11 2018, after battling cancer. Phil was born in Menomonie, Wisconsin on November 25, 1948 to Janet (Cook) and Richard Olson. Karen Irene Frank, age 81, ended her courageous battle with Atypical Parkinson’s Disease on July 11, 2018. At passing, Karen was surrounded by family and friends in residence at the Classics, Altoona, WI. Andrea Susan Zinn, 38, of Eau Claire, died peacefully July 10, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Luther Campus from metastatic breast cancer. Born on March 25, 1980 in Hayward Wisconsin and is survived by her parents Jerry and Judy (Zawistowski) Michalski, her husband Justin (married October 24th 2009), step daughter Katherine and grandmother Evelyn Zawistowski.
