GREEN BAY — A fired Lambeau Field food service employee will stand trial on accusations he chased down a former co-worker and another man with his car and rammed their vehicle and others. Chay Vang is facing seven charges, including recklessly endangering safety. A criminal complaint says Vang was upset that he was fired after a previous argument with the co-worker. He went to the stadium Dec. 22 and spotted the co-worker and another employee getting out of a vehicle in the parking lot.
MADISON — A northern Wisconsin sheriff’s deputy was justified when he shot and killed a 14-year-old boy on a tribal reservation last year, a prosecutor said Friday. Ashland County District Attorney Michael Nieskes cleared Deputy Brock Mrdjenovich of any criminal liability in eighth-grader Jason Pero’s death. MILWAUKEE — Reliever Boone Logan has finalized a $2.5 million, one-year contract with the Milwaukee Brewers, who also agreed to a minor league deal with right-hander J.J. Hoover. ROCKY RIVER, Ohio — Postal carriers say a rafter of aggressive wild turkeys have prevented them from delivering mail to more than two dozen homes in a Cleveland suburb. Cleveland.com reports residents on a number of streets in Rocky River have had to pick up their mail at the post office because the turkeys have created unsafe conditions for carriers to deliver to their homes. LONDON — Ray Thomas, a founding member of British rock group the Moody Blues, has died at 76, months before the band is due to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. His music label, Esoteric Recordings/Cherry Red Records, said Thomas died suddenly Thursday at his home in Surrey, south of London. “We are deeply shocked by his passing and will miss his warmth, humor and kindness,” the label said Sunday. “It was a privilege to have known and worked with him
