Each year, UW-Madison’s Agricultural Research Stations host more than a dozen public field days throughout the growing season to share research updates and educational information with agricultural professionals, home gardeners and other interested citizens.

Events are free unless noted otherwise.

Noer Turfgrass Research and Education Facility, Verona (paid registration required); Wisconsin Insect Festival, July 26-27, Kemp Natural Resources Station, Woodruff; Twilight Garden Tour, Aug. 13, 4 p.m., Spooner Agricultural Research Station, Spooner; Horticulture Open House, Aug. 17, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., West Madison Agricultural Research Station, Verona; UW Organic Vegetable Variety Research Showcase, Aug. 22, 2 to 5 p.m., West Madison Agricultural Research Station, Verona; All Things Fungi Festival, Aug. 23-24, Kemp Natural Resources Station, Woodruff; UW Agronomy and Soils Field Day, Aug. 28, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Arlington Agricultural Research Station, Arlington; and UW Organic Agricultural Research Field Day, Aug. 29, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Arlington Agricultural Research Station, Arlington.
