The workshop will include a walking tour of the property where participants will hear about tree types, health and disease, growing conditions, nut production, the history of hickory in Native American culture, nut cracking tools and techniques, and the hickory business in Wisconsin.

Samples of hickory-based foods will be offered.

Preregistration is requested by contacting wihickory@gmail.com or Hickory Glen Creations, 920-887-3818. An event fee of $7 for WHA members and $15 for non-members will be collected at the door.
