For the next three weekends, there will be free, rapid COVID-19 testing available to the public at UW-Eau Claire's Hilltop Center, the university announced Friday.

People will be able to get free antigen tests at the site, 15 Garfield Ave., Eau Claire, on the following Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.:

• Jan. 22-23

• Jan. 29-30

• Feb. 5-6

The site is also open for rapid testing on weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. through Feb. 6. From Feb. 7 to April 1, it is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

The public can register for a testing appointment by visiting UWEC.vivi.healthcare and selecting the “Community or UW Subcontractor” button. People can get to the clinic through the west entrance of Hilltop and by following the signage.
