The Waldemar Ager Association's Ager Museum is holding a free holiday open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, at the museum, 514 W. Madison St.

The afternoon will include cookies, punch, coffee and fruit soup as well as tours of the house that is now a cultural museum focused on Scandinavian immigrants to the Eau Claire region and the work of newspaper editor and writer Waldemar Ager.

There also will be crafts in the basement, music and stories on the main floor and a quiet space to relax in the upper floor's library.
