For the seventh year, the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour will bring its award-winning selection of action, environmental and adventure films to Eau Claire on Monday and Tuesday at Pablo Center at the Confluence's RCU Theatre, 128 Graham Ave.

The festival bills itself as one of the largest and most prestigious mountain festivals in the world that travels to more than 40 countries around the globe each year.

The film festival is brought to Eau Claire in partnership with UW-Eau Claire, which has previously held the sold-out event in its Woodland Theater, according to UW-Eau Claire geography professor Harry Jol.

It was moved to Pablo Center this year in anticipation of the high number of attendees, he said.

Screenings begin at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Tickets for each day are $19 for adults, $10 for those 16 and under and $4.25 for UW-Eau Claire students.

Purchase tickets online at pablocenter.org. For more information about the film festival, visit banffmountainfestival.ca.
