MENOMONIE — Nationally known comedian and Menomonie native Tim Harmston will return home to perform "Guffaws for Paws" on Saturday, Dec. 29, at Stout Ale House, 1501 N. Broadway St.
Harmston will entertain residents along with comedians Wendy Maybury and Bryan Miller to raise funds for homeless pets in the area through the Dunn County Humane Society.
Harmston began his career in 2002 at the Mall of America and has gone on to win Acme Comedy Company's funniest person in its Twin Cities competition and worked in clubs from Los Angeles to New York City. He also helped start up Clear Water Comedy, a group of comedians in Eau Claire, and recorded his second album, "Erotic Cheese Tray" at The Plus.
Doors for the show will open at 6 p.m. with the show set to begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 for general admission or $55 for VIP, which includes table seating and a pasta buffet prior to the show.
