Escape the snow and explore different types of flowers during "Choix Fleurs: Before the Temple of Flora," an art exhibit running through March 20 at Galaudet Gallery, 618 S. Farwell St.

The exhibit features works by botanical artists such as Pierre Redoute, Marc Chagall and George Ehret, among others.

Gallery co-owner Vicki Milewski said these are artists who have inspired her own work.

"Studying these masters has humbled my work with floral painting and brought a new perspective to my eye when looking at flowers," she said in a news release.

The exhibit is the third in a three-year series of shows that explore floral works in the gallery. There are three more planned in 2019 and 2020.

Galaudet Gallery is open from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays. For more information, visit galaudetgallery.wix.com/ggllc.
