Galaudet Gallery's latest exhibit, "Stars in a New Constellation," opens today and runs through Jan. 15 at the downtown gallery, 618 S. Farwell St.

Gallery co-owner Mike Milewski said in a news release the opening of this exhibit coincides with the recent opening of Pablo Center at the Confluence, "a new star in Eau Claire's arts and culture constellation."

The meaning of "stars" in the exhibit varies in that the art depicted features everything from stars as wayfinding tools, stars seen with telescopes, stars imagined in yogic meditation as chakras, nadis and nagas, stars like the rising and setting sun and stars for celebration.

The gallery also is featuring new jewelry inspired by the images and ideas of stars and created by Buddha Babe out of Lublin.

Galaudet Gallery is open from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays.
