The play "Traffick" will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 1:30 p.m. Sunday at UW-Eau Claire's Haas Fine Arts Center, 121 Water St.
The play is written, directed, and produced by Memorial High School Documentary Theatre students and focuses on human trafficking. "Traffick" follows Sam Reed as she is coerced and eventually trafficked by her abusive boyfriend, Jake Marino. Sam goes on to meet others in similar situations as she is manipulated further into the trafficking industry.
The play is based on true events.
Tickets cost $5 for students and $10 for community members.
