MENOMONIE — UW-Stout and Mabel Tainter Center for the Arts are co-sponsoring the new Red Cedar Film Festival, which will take place July 24-28 in downtown Menomonie.
Film entries are open and will be accepted through Saturday, March 30. Films will be shown at the Mabel Tainter, 205 Main St. E., UW-Stout's Harvey Hall Theatre, 721 Third St. E. and the Wilson Park bandshell as well as other venues, according to UW-Stout professor Peter Galante, co-founder of the festival.
The festival will have seven competition categories, including two for students.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public closer to the date of the festival. There also will be an opening night gala.
