Smart home seminar is Thursday

The Chippewa Valley Home Builders Association presents the "Home SMART Home" — Home Technology Seminar at 6 p.m. on Thursday at its offices, 4319 Jeffers Road.

The seminar will explain how to transform your home with cutting-edge technology, the difference between smart home automation and smart devices, abilities of a smart home with demonstration, as well as the fundamentals of home networking in having your devices talk to each other.

Home security specialists will explain home security system basics, life and environmental safety policies and procedures for a safer home.

This seminar is presented by a panel of experts including: Hunter Braatz and Garrett Lewis with Hometech Innovations along with Pat Duffenbach & Brent Wilson with Per Mar Security.

Admission is $10 per person and includes a free ticket to the 2019 Home & Garden Show on Feb. 22.
