• 3 p.m. Sunday, Bloomer Baptist Church, 2620 Duncan Road.

• 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, Faith Baptist Church, 1475 Railroad Ave., Chetek.

• 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, St. Jude’s Catholic Church, 146 E. Main St., New Auburn.

Created by David Hamilton, the concerts will be directed by Scott Jensen with pianist Rhonda Swangim.

FEAST OF IMMACULATE CONCEPTION: The Feast of the Immaculate Conception is Saturday, Dec. 8.

The Immaculate Conception is a holy day of obligation when Catholics are required to attend Mass.

Sacred Heart-St. Patrick Catholic Church is holding Mass at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 322 Fulton St., and at 8 a.m. Dec. 8 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 418 N. Dewey St.

PRAYER FOR LIFE: The National Night of Prayer for Life begins at 8 p.m. Friday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 322 Fulton St.

The purpose of the evening is to unite the prayers of Catholics throughout the country in an effort to bring the world back to Christ and bring about an end to abortion.

The schedule for the evening is:

• 8 p.m. to midnight: Exposition and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

• 8 p.m. to midnight: Hourly pro-life prayer services.

• 8 to 10 p.m.: Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available.

• Midnight: Closing benediction.
