NEW PASTOR: The Rev. Karen Behling Sunday is joining Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 1300 Mansfield St., Chippewa Falls.

Behling is a graduate of Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa.

Everyone is invited to join the congregation for worship at 8 a.m. or 10:15 a.m. Sundays.

DRUM CORPS PERFORMANCE: Sheltered Reality, the youth drum corps, will be at the 9 a.m. Sunday worship service at Hope Lutheran Church, 2226 Eddy Lane.

Started in 1996, Sheltered Reality has dedicated itself to being a youth-oriented project. The group’s performances use the power of percussion set to music and high-energy choreography as a way to reach out to audiences, motivating them to advocate for those in need, especially children and families.

During performances, members of the group share personal stories to inspire the audience, culminating with ideas for action.

All are welcome to attend.

RALLY FOR LIFE: The Eau Claire County Chapter of Wisconsin Right to Life will hold its annual Rally for Life at 2 p.m. Sunday in Father Klink Hall at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1722 Highland Ave.

Melinda Gardner, executive director of APPLE Pregnancy Care Center, will present “A Look Into the Pregnancy Center.”

Gardner has been at APPLE (Aiding Problem Pregnancies with Love and Encouragement) since it opened in 1981. She will share what led her to being involved in pregnancy center ministry and why she continues to work in it.
