Eau Claire residents are invited to meet tonight at a downtown arts center to help create a vision for the community's future.
Clear Vision Eau Claire will host the first of its "Our Community 2030 ... Renewing the Vision" meetings at 6:30 p.m. at the Pablo Center at the Confluence, 128 Graham Ave.
This meeting is the local group's kick-off to its effort to gather ideas on how to improve the community in the next decade.
Three following meetings are all scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays at downtown venues. Meetings on March 14 and April 4 will be at the Pablo Center, and the April 25 session will be at Royal Credit Union's corporate offices, 200 Riverfront Terrace.
The general public is invited to attend all those gatherings.
Clear Vision's first meetings in 2007 and a 2008 report yielded ideas for a downtown arts center, community gardens and a map of Eau Claire County bike trails, which all became realities.
