ELLSWORTH — The state Department of Natural Resources is investigating the death of hundreds of fish discovered earlier this month in a Pierce County creek.
Over 600 dead trout and other forage fish have been observed in Isabelle Creek along Highway C in Ellsworth.
DNR investigators have been on-site several times since Aug. 17, a news release from the state agency stated.
No further details were available Thursday in the ongoing investigation into the dead fish.
