The Eau Claire school district will host an open forum for the seven school board candidates on Monday, Jan. 31 from 7 to 8 p.m., it announced Thursday.

Community members, district employees, students and families are invited to the forum at the Memorial High School auditorium, 2220 Fairfax St.

The event will also be livestreamed, and a recording will be posted on the district’s website after the event.

The district said it strongly recommends attendees wear masks covering their nose and mouth if they attend the forum in person.

There are seven candidates, including two incumbents, running for three open seats on the school board this spring. A primary election will be held Feb. 15, and the general election is April 5.

The candidates for the February primary are as follows. Incumbents are marked with an (I).
