Augusta looks to win a third straight Dairyland game after beating Independence/Gilmanton two weeks ago and Melrose-Mindoro in a tight 8-6 contest last week. Whitehall is coming off a 22-20 loss to Alma/Pepin. The Beavers won last year's meeting, 22-21.
Boyceville (2-3, 1-2) at Spring Valley (5-0, 2-0), 7 p.m. Friday
The Cardinals, still undefeated, beat Glenwood City 45-8 last week. Boyceville is coming off a 34-14 loss to Colfax. Spring Valley won last year's meeting, 41-16.
Cadott (2-3, 2-3) at Fall Creek (0-5, 0-5), 7 p.m. Friday
Cadott is looking to move back to .500 overall and in conference after falling 43-21 to Stanley-Boyd. Fall Creek, coming off a 59-0 loss to Colby, is looking for its first win. Cadott won last year's meeting, 20-19.
Chippewa Falls (1-4, 1-2) at Superior (4-1, 2-1), 7 p.m. Friday
Chi-Hi has only one win this season but has competed well the past two weeks, beating Rice Lake 16-12 and hanging with Eau Claire Memorial for a majority of the game last week in a 33-21 loss. Superior suffered its first loss of the season last week, a 49-24 defeat at the hands of Hudson. Superior won last year's meeting, 26-7.
Colfax (1-4, 1-1) at Elk Mound (3-2, 2-1), 7 p.m. Friday
The Mounders, coming off a 41-14 win against Durand, look to stay neck-and-neck with the two teams a half game ahead of them in the Dunn-St. Croix, Mondovi and Spring Valley. Colfax is looking for a second straight conference victory after beating Boyceville 34-14 last week. Elk Mound won last year's meeting, 42-14.
Cumberland (4-1, 4-1) at Bloomer (5-0, 5-0), 7 p.m. Friday
The Blackhawks stayed undefeated last week with a 42-12 win against Ladysmith, while Cumberland bounced back from a loss to Northwestern with a 58-6 win against Cameron. Cumberland won last year's meeting, 36-22.
Durand (2-3, 1-2) at Regis (5-0, 5-0), 11 a.m. Saturday
Regis, coming off a 53-8 win against Altoona, looks to stay undefeated in this non-conference battle. Durand hopes to bounce back from a 41-14 loss to Elk Mound. Regis won last year's meeting, 42-6.
Eau Claire North (0-5, 0-3) at Rice Lake (0-5, 0-3), 7 p.m. Friday
One of these teams will earn their first win overall and in the Big Rivers in this matchup. North is coming off a 55-13 loss to Menomonie, while Rice Lake fell last week to River Falls, 25-8. Rice Lake won last year's meeting, 52-6.
Eleva-Strum (3-2, 2-1) at Pepin/Alma (2-3, 2-1), 7 p.m. Friday
Both these teams look to move two games over .500 in the Dairyland after wins last week, Eleva-Strum 35-0 against Cochrane-Fountain City and Pepin/Alma 22-20 against Whitehall. Eleva-Strum won the last meeting between these teams 35-34 in the playoffs in 2016.
Hudson (2-3, 2-1) at Menomonie (5-0, 3-0), 7 p.m. Friday
The Mustangs are the last undefeated team remaining in the Big Rivers, having beaten Chippewa Falls, River Falls and Eau Claire North. Hudson could move into a tie with Menomonie with a win thanks to victories against Eau Claire North and Superior in the last two weeks. The 49-24 win against Superior, who had beaten Eau Claire Memorial the week prior, was particularly impressive. Menomonie won last year's matchup, 20-17.
Ladysmith (2-3, 2-3) at Chetek-Weyerhaeuser (1-4, 1-4), 7 p.m. Friday
Both these squads are looking to bounce back after losses. Ladysmith fell 42-12 to Bloomer, while Chetek-Weyerhaeuser lost 49-31 to Hayward. Ladysmith won last year's meeting, 14-8.
Mondovi (5-0, 2-0) at Glenwood City (0-5, 0-3), 7 p.m. Friday
The Buffaloes, who haven't given up a point yet this season, are coming off a 47-0 victory against Osseo-Fairchild. Glenwood City suffered a loss last week to the other top team in the Dunn-St. Croix, a 45-8 defeat to Spring Valley. Mondovi won last year's meeting, 35-0.
Neillsville/Granton (2-3, 1-3) at Altoona (1-4, 1-4), 7 p.m. Friday
Both these squads are looking to bounce back after losses last week, Altoona 53-8 to Regis and Neillsville/Granton 29-0 to Spencer/Columbus. Neillsville/Granton won last year's matchup, 14-7.
Osseo-Fairchild (2-3, 2-2) at Stanley-Boyd (3-2, 2-2), 7 p.m. Friday
Two squads tied in the Cloverbelt standings square up, with Osseo-Fairchild coming off a 47-0 loss to Mondovi and Stanley-Boyd a 43-21 win against Cadott. Stanley-Boyd won last year's meeting, 14-12.
Phillips (5-0) at McDonell (2-2), 7 p.m. Friday
The Macks are looking to get back on the right track after falling 60-14 to Chequamegon last week. They face a tough test in Phillips, ranked No. 4 in the state in the lastest Wisssports.net Coaches Poll and a team coming off a 54-14 win against White Lake/Elcho. Phillips won the two meetings last year, 49-22 and 41-8.
River Falls (3-2, 2-1) at Eau Claire Memorial (4-1, 2-1), 7 p.m. Friday
The Old Abes look to win a second straight in Big Rivers play after besting Chippewa Falls last week, 33-21. They may need to go undefeated in the BRC the rest of the way if they want a shot at a conference title. River Falls is also coming off a conference victory, having beat Rice Lake 25-8 last Friday. River Falls won last year's matchup, 48-7.
Thorp (2-3, 1-2) at Gilman (3-2, 1-2), 7 p.m. Friday
Thorp looks to bounce back from a 36-20 loss to Abbotsford, while Gilman looks to build off a 54-0 win against Owen-Withee that snapped a two-game losing streak. Gilman won last year's meeting, 55-6.
