An Eau Claire man will spend one year in jail for his sixth operating while intoxicated conviction since 2009.
Nathaniel L. Boyette, 40, 1439 N. Fairmont Ave., pleaded no contest recently in Eau Claire County Court to a felony count of sixth-offense drunken driving.
Judge Emily Long placed Boyette on three years of probation, fined him $1,855 and revoked his driver's license for three years.
As conditions of probation, Boyette cannot drink alcohol or enter taverns.
According to court records:
Boyette was arrested for drunken driving Aug. 19 following a traffic stop on Clairemont Avenue. His blood alcohol level was 0.276, more than three times the legal limit.
Boyette was previously convicted of drunken driving in March, June and November 2009, May 2012 and March 2013.
