An Eau Claire man will spend seven months in jail for his fifth drunken driving conviction since 1991.
Kelly Deal, 46, 3643 Livingston Lane, was found guilty recently in Eau Claire County Court to a felony count of fifth-offense drunken driving and a misdemeanor count of operating after revocation.
Judge Emily Long fined Deal $2,298 and revoked his driver's license for three years.
Deal was also ordered to maintain absolute sobriety.
According to court records:
Deal was arrested for drunken driving Feb. 25, 2018, following a traffic stop on Mitscher Avenue. His blood alcohol content was 0.103.
Deal was previously convicted of drunken driving in April 1991, January 1999 and April 2013 in Eau Claire County, and in February 2003 in Dunn County.
