An Eau Claire man will spend 18 months in prison for violating conditions of his probation stemming from two 2016 criminal convictions.
Eau Claire County Judge Sarah Harless ordered Ezell C. Jenkins Jr., 42, 5725 Gables Drive, to spend one year on extended supervision following his release from prison.
Jenkins was also fined $618.
Jenkins was originally sentenced in December 2016 to three years of probation for felony counts of second-offense possession of marijuana and substantial battery.
According to court records, Jenkins violated terms of his probation by being dishonest with law enforcement, having unapproved contact with a woman and instructing the woman to provide false information.
