CHIPPEWA FALLS — A 22-year-old Fall Creek man was placed on probation for 18 months after he was convicted of having sex with a 14-year-old girl in December 2016.
Kyle C. Olson, 55400 Hiawatha Road, pleaded no contest Tuesday in Chippewa County Court to fourth-degree sexual assault. Olson was originally charged with child sex exploitation and six counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child.
Judge Steve Gibbs withheld sentence and placed Olson on probation, and gave him three days jail credit if revoked.
Olson must complete an alcohol and drug assessment and seek sex offender counseling. He cannon have any non-incidental contact with juvenile females, and he must submit a DNA sample.
According to the criminal complaint, the girl told authorities that she had sexual intercourse with Olson between Dec. 25, 2016, and Jan. 1, 2017, at a home on E. Birch Street in Chippewa Falls.
