Charles “Chuck” Warner, age 70, of Eau Claire died on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at his home.
Chuck was born on October 6, 1948 to the late Clare and Angeline (Berg) Warner in Eau Claire where he was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Memorial High School and served our country in the U.S. Army National Guard. For many years, Chuck worked for the City of Eau Claire as sexton for Lakeview Cemetery. He loved watching and following all Wisconsin sports. But mostly Chuck was a family man. He cherished the many wonderful weekends spent through the years with family at the cottage in Gull Lake.
He is survived by his children, Andrew (Heidi Prissel) of Eau Claire and Teresa (Joe) Warner-Crowe of New Brighton, MN; grandson, Parker Warner; brothers, William (Kathy) of Jackson, WY, Douglas (Debra) of Las Vegas, NV, and Donald (Leanne) of Ham Lake, MN; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Evergreen Funeral Home (off Golf Road one block east of Hwy 93). A family graveside service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Fall Creek. Evergreen Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
