Doris M. Feather, 93 of Eau Claire passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Eau Claire.
Doris was born to Peter and Agnes (Arneson) Peterson on December 25, 1924 in Eau Claire. She met her husband Charles “Chick” Feather when he was stationed here for the Army during WWII. They kept in touch when Charles went overseas and got married after the war ended. Doris loved to sew. She bowled and golfed way into her 80s. Doris loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart and soul. In her 90s she moved to Oakwood Hills Retirement Community and made many friends there. She worried about them when they weren’t well and had fun with them every day.
