Frederick “Fritz” Edward Dietrich, 76, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Mayo Hospital Eau Claire, following a sudden diagnosis of a rare and aggressive form of Lymphoma cancer. He was lovingly surrounded by his family when he took his final breaths.
Extremely proud of his family, Fritz is survived by sister Theresa “Tess” Dietrich of Ridgefield, WA; children Brandon Roycraft and grandchild Riley (Drew) Richardson and great-grandchild Portlyn; Ellyn (Trent) Gengler of Chippewa Falls and grandchildren Aidric, Calla and Sullivan; Terese Welch of Madison and grandchildren Freya and Una, and Fritz II (Tracie) Dietrich and grandchild Hattie of Augusta. Fritz was preceded in death by his parents, brother John, and many treasured friends.
A Catholic funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Leiser Funeral Home, 511 N. Main St., Cadott, and again from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 Friday at the church. A vigil with Rosary will begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday evening at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at St. Rose cemetery at a later time.
