Lillian Dornbusch

Lillian Fay Dornbusch was born on June 13, 1956 in Perham, MN. Lillian graduated from Perham High School in 1974. On May 20, 1978 Lillian was united in marriage to Arlin Edward Ziemann. Their marriage was blessed with three children.

Lillian and Arlin raised their children in the midwest, eventually settling in Eau Claire, WI., where they lived for more than 20 years. In 2015 both retired and made Bend, OR. their home, where they lived next door (97 steps away) to one of their daughters, son-in-law and 4 of their 7 grandchildren.

Lillian passed away after a brief struggle with cancer on March 19, 2019. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Lillian was the oldest of 11 children. She was a loving sister, sister-in-law and aunt to so many. She always found great joy and blessings in her large family. Lillian was a devoted wife, recently celebrating 40 years of marriage. Lillian had a nurturing spirit and great love for children. She was a wonderful mother and caregiver for not only her children, but for the many children she cared for as an in-home daycare provider of more than 10 years. Lillian later worked as a clothing manager for Sport Motors Harley Davidson, joining her passion for motorcycles with her love for making conversation with customers.

Lillian enjoyed being active, nature, gardening, hunting, riding her Harley, baking, sewing, swimming, thrift shopping, sharing conversation and laughs and most of all spoiling her grandchildren. Lillian was a warm and genuine woman whose kindness inspired many. She was a faithful servant of her Heavenly Father who showed great gratitude for his blessings. The world was a better place because she was in it and we will hold her in our hearts forever.

Preceding Lillian in death were her parents Raymond and Delores (Rapatt) Dornbusch, her niece Jean Ziemann and her nephew Levi Dornbusch. She is survived by her husband Arlin, children; Chantelle (Doug) Davis, Dustin (Megan) Ziemann and Sheila (Jon Rausch) Ziemann and grandchildren; Drew, Jordan, Dylan, Gavin, Seaver, Paige and Raelynn.
